From the East
My Brethren,
As we make our approach to the beautiful season of fall leaves we have much to be thankful for. My mother is now at home recovering from her broken hip and rib, and is continuing to progress as she is working through physical therapy. Thank you very much for all your prayers for her continued improvement. The planning meeting on August 14th was well attended, however many of our new brethren were not able to make it. I encourage you to get involved in Lodge activities. Let Bro. Kevin Oliner, our activities Chairman, or myself, know if you are interested in helping with any of our activities. We need your help.
Congratulations to our new Brother, Keith Nusinov, and his father Bro. Bob Nusinov. On August 19th, the Grand Master and his line of Officers made Keith a Mason at Sight. It was an extraordinary event to be seen. What an honor it is for this event to have taken place within the walls of our Lodge. I am looking forward to getting to know you better, Brother Keith. Come to meetings and be involved, I guarantee you will get out one hundred fold what you put in. Summer school this year was well attended by Officers and brethren of our Lodge.
Our Jr. Warden, Bro. John Esnaashari, sat in the West at one session and has also earned a perfect attendance award. Our Jr. Deacon, Bro. Bob Rascovar, delivered the Middle Chamber Lecture and received high praises by all including the Grand Master and Grand Lecturer for his excellent execution. Congratulations to both of you for showing everyone at summer school an example of the distinguished ritual work we do, and are known for, in Amicable-St. John’s Lodge #25. On behalf of all my Officers and myself; we are honored by the privilege to serve our Lodge, Amicable-St. John’s Lodge #25.
Please remember to keep our Country, our Leaders, and our Service Men and Women in your prayers.
